JoJo Golden Spirit Players Hub
Who is actually playable after the 13 August 2026 launch, how styles feed Rush, and which famous names are still missing.
JoJo Golden Spirit’s roster is a licensed cross-part cast, not the entire manga. KLab Games and Wanda Cinemas Games shipped the global client on 13 August 2026 with about fifty playable fighters: eleven SSRs, a larger SR row, and a short R row. This hub is the map of that live pool. Use the SSR roster when you need the eleven names spelled out. Use fighting styles when you need the exact Defense, Assault, Agility, Ranged, Special, and Support bonuses. Use items and currencies when a gold icon could be Astrogems, Jotaro’s Hat, a Wheel Token, or VS Score. Use the tier list when you need letter grades from the 14 August 2026 snapshot.
What a player is in this game
Each fighter is a Stand user (or a Hamon / pillar-man unit from earlier parts) with one fighting style and one ultimate that feeds Rush. You field a mixed party on an 11-panel grid. Auto-battle walks them forward; you hold ultimates until three different styles have fired. That is the whole identity of a “player” here: rarity plus style plus whether the kit cares about weather.
Rarity is not flavor. SSR rate is 2 percent. Permanent pity is 60 for a random SSR. Featured pity is 60 for the featured unit. Wishlist pulls spend Card: Predestined Hope. Permanent pulls spend Uncharted Fate. The poker hand on the summon screen is visual. None of that changes who is in the roster; it only changes how fast you collect them. The reroll guide is how you decide whether the first SSR is worth binding.
The launch SSR row, in brief
The eleven SSRs playable at launch are Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli, Jotaro Kujo, Muhammad Avdol, Koichi Hirose, Giorno Giovanna, Bruno Bucciarati, Diavolo, Prosciutto, Cioccolata, Ermes Costello, and F.F. (Foo Fighters). Jotaro is the Fated Expedition featured unit from 13 August through 10 September 2026. Giorno is the heal lynchpin and the early-game carry. The other nine fill Agility, Special, Assault, Defense, and Ranged jobs that make Rush possible.
Jonathan Joestar is not on that list. He was closed-beta only and was replaced by Jotaro when the launch client shipped. If a pre-launch PV still shows Jonathan, treat it as history, not a pull target. Full kit notes live on the SSR roster page so this hub can stay a map instead of a second copy of every skill description.
SR and R names you will actually use
The SR row is where most accounts live for the first week. Joseph Joestar is free from the two-million pre-registration milestone and remains the Hermit Purple stun for the Hall of Trials Entrance Exam. Secco is the partner for Cioccolata. Narancia Ghirga is the sand and fog specialist. Squalo is the rain specialist. Leone Abbacchio, Pet Shop, Lisa Lisa, Rubber Soul, Guido Mista, Bruford, and the rest of the S and A snapshot sit in this broader pool even when they are not SSRs.
R-tier names such as Leaky-Eye Luca exist so the collection tab has deep cuts. They are not party cores. Feed them into investigations after you have a working style mix, and do not spend Ability banners on them.
Styles are part of the roster
A Stand without a style is not a complete player. Defense cuts 30 percent of damage for the first five seconds. Assault heals 150 percent of Attack when HP drops below 40 percent, once every ten seconds. Agility opens on the counterpart-position enemy, gains 5 percent crit if untargeted, and can stealth for three seconds below 60 percent HP on a ten-second cooldown. Ranged adds 5 percent damage per tile. Special restores 20 percent max energy on a basic once every ten seconds. Support heals 10 percent max HP when an ally is below 30 percent, once every ten seconds. Rush needs ultimates from three different styles. The fighting styles page repeats those bonuses in full so you can build a legal Rush team from the eleven SSRs plus Joseph.
Names that are not players yet
Do not add these to a team planner: Josuke Higashikata, Jolyne Cujoh, Dio and DIO, Yoshikage Kira, Pannacotta Fugo, Trish Una, Risotto Nero, Jean Pierre Polnareff, Iggy, Noriaki Kakyoin, Wamuu, and Kars. They are unreleased. Ranking them as playable is how accounts stall waiting for a banner that is not in the client. Watch events and launch notes for real additions.
How to use this hub
- New install: getting started, then reroll before you bind.
- Claim codes and check rewards so tickets land on the right banner.
- Identify your first SSR on the SSR roster.
- Assign styles on the fighting styles page until Rush is possible.
- Name every wallet on the items page before you convert hats, tokens, or VS Score into the wrong shop.
- For story and Entrance Exam, prefer the PVE ranks over a screenshot of S-tier. For Ranked, use the PvP ranks.
- Keep Quest Level moving with the daily checklist and progression.
This wiki is unofficial fan documentation. Store pages, in-game banners, and the links hub win when a name, rate, or style icon disagrees with a video. The roster will grow. Until it does, plan around the eleven launch SSRs, the free Joseph SR, and the style bonuses that make Rush legal, not around a Part 4 or Part 6 protagonist who is still in the unreleased column.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, Rush, and Stand lineups.
How many SSRs launched in JoJo Golden Spirit?
Eleven. The full list is on the SSR roster. Jotaro replaced Jonathan Joestar, who was closed-beta only.
Where do fighting-style bonuses live?
On the fighting styles page. Rush still needs ultimates from three different styles, which is why a roster of five Assault units is a trap.
Is Joseph Joestar an SSR?
No. He is a free SR from the two-million pre-registration milestone. He is still a PVE stun piece. See the PVE tier list.
When will Josuke, Jolyne, or DIO be playable?
They are unreleased as of launch. Do not rank them. Follow events instead of resetting an account that already holds Giorno or Jotaro.
How do I get more of the roster?
Uncharted Fate for the permanent pool, Card: Predestined Hope for wishlist, featured tickets for Fated Expedition. Redeem codes first. SSR rate is 2 percent with 60-pity on both permanent and featured banners. Wallet names sit on the items page.
