JoJo Golden Spirit Launch SSR Roster

JoJo Golden Spirit launched with eleven SSR fighters. That number is the whole point of this page. If a list shows twelve launch SSRs because it still includes Jonathan Joestar, it is a closed-beta leftover. If a list ranks Josuke or DIO beside Giorno, it is ranking names that are not in the client. The players hub maps the wider SR and R pool. This page names the SSR row, how those eleven relate to the 14 August 2026 tier snapshot, and which banners actually drop them.

The eleven launch SSRs

In series order, not pull order:

1. Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli (Battle Tendency). Launch SSR, A-tier on the general snapshot, a Ranged-shaped kit that still works as a beginner keep if S-tier never appeared.
2. Jotaro Kujo (Stardust Crusaders). Launch SSR and the Fated Expedition featured unit from 13 August through 10 September 2026. S-tier. Replaced Jonathan Joestar when the global client shipped.
3. Muhammad Avdol (Stardust Crusaders). Launch SSR, A-tier generally, a Special-shaped energy battery that helps Rush fire on time.
4. Koichi Hirose (Diamond is Unbreakable). Launch SSR, S-tier, and a timed pin in the Hall of Trials Entrance Exam.
5. Giorno Giovanna (Golden Wind). Launch SSR, S-tier, the heal lynchpin, and the early-game carry. If reroll offers Giorno, stop.
6. Bruno Bucciarati (Golden Wind). Launch SSR, S-tier, an Agility-shaped leader who still wants mixed styles around him.
7. Diavolo (Golden Wind). Launch SSR, S-tier. Worth the featured question the hub video asks; still not a reason to bench Giorno in story.
8. Prosciutto (Golden Wind). Launch SSR, A-tier generally, a heat specialist who loses aging work in blizzards. See the PVE list.
9. Cioccolata (Golden Wind). Launch SSR, S-tier. Pair with Secco (SR) in PVE even though Secco is not on this SSR list.
10. Ermes Costello (Stone Ocean). Launch SSR, A-tier on the snapshot (Pocket Gamer wrote Hermes). Defense-shaped sustain, not a reroll failure.
11. F.F. / Foo Fighters (Stone Ocean). Launch SSR, S-tier, a Ranged-shaped keep if the complimentary pulls landed her instead of Giorno.

Those eleven are the only SSRs you can own on a launch account. Star-up shards and Ability banners still matter, but they upgrade this list; they do not add Josuke.

Closed beta versus launch

Jonathan Joestar was playable in closed beta and is not a launch SSR. Jotaro Kujo took that slot in the shipping client. Do not save Predestined Hope for Jonathan. Do not reroll looking for him. Pre-launch PVs that still flash Phantom Blood’s first JoJo are advertising a test build. The character trailer on this page is Jotaro because that is the launch featured Stand.

How the eleven split across banners

Fated Expedition (13 August–10 September 2026) features Jotaro. Featured pity is 60 for that SSR. Permanent Character Recruitment holds the rest of the eleven at a 2 percent SSR rate with 60-pity for a random SSR. Wishlist / novice recruitment spends Card: Predestined Hope. Uncharted Fate spends on the permanent pool. The poker hand is visual. At 60 pity you receive the featured unit, not a random off-banner SSR dressed as a win.

If you are still on a guest login, read reroll before you bind. If you already bound, stop chasing a second copy of the same SSR on a new guest and spend Astrogems on the account you kept. Redeem codes with the redeem walkthrough so extra Uncharted Fate lands on this roster instead of sitting in mail.

S-tier SSRs versus A-tier SSRs

The 14 August 2026 snapshot puts Giorno, Jotaro, Diavolo, F.F., Cioccolata, Bruno, and Koichi in S. Caesar, Avdol, Prosciutto, and Ermes sit in A even though they are SSRs. That is not a bug. S-tier also includes SR names such as Leone Abbacchio, Pet Shop, Lisa Lisa, and Rubber Soul. Rarity and letter grade are different axes. An A-tier SSR is still a keep. An S-tier SR is not an SSR and will not satisfy a reroll that asked for S-tier SSR.

PVE further splits the row. Giorno and Koichi are story and Entrance Exam spines. Prosciutto wants heat. Cioccolata wants Secco. Jotaro and Diavolo still clear chapters; they just do not replace the heal lynchpin. Use PVE ranks when the question is a stage, and this roster when the question is “is this name even an SSR.”

Unreleased, on purpose

These Stands are not playable and are not ranked here: Josuke Higashikata, Jolyne Cujoh, Dio and DIO, Yoshikage Kira, Pannacotta Fugo, Trish Una, Risotto Nero, Jean Pierre Polnareff, Iggy, Noriaki Kakyoin, Wamuu, and Kars. Mentioning them is a warning, not a hidden roster. When one of them is added, events and launch notes will say so. Until then, mix fighting styles among the eleven you can actually pull.

Build the eleven around Rush, not around a favorite part. Three different styles must ultimate before the 25 percent window opens. A party of Giorno, Bruno, Diavolo, and two more Agility clones will look expensive and still fail the Rush check. Pair SSR rarity with the style chart, feed Joseph into the Entrance Exam even though he is SR, and treat this list as a closed set until the client says otherwise.
