JoJo Golden Spirit Launch Events

Fated Expedition, Jotaro Kujo, and the first-month minigame calendar.

Fated Expedition

The first month of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit is a single campaign with several side stamps, not a scatter of unrelated popups. Fated Expedition (宿命遠征) opened with the global iOS and Android launch on 13 August 2026 and runs through 10 September 2026 EST. Featured character is Jotaro Kujo. Exchange item is Jotaro’s Hat. Minigames are Mist Skirmish, Card Flip, Coin Toss, Orange Bomb, and Memory Match. Login campaigns and a special summon target SSR Jotaro. A Stardust Crusaders character story event retells the Egypt road beside the Golden Wind main plot. This page is the calendar. Patch lists and pre-registration mail sit on the launch timeline. The Updates Hub is the short index.

You do not need every event unlocked on hour one. Push the Naples tutorial, redeem codes, and follow the getting started route until Quest Level 3. Hall of Trials, Extreme Trial Team, and most event boards wait on that floor. The daily checklist is the reminder layer so hats, login stamps, and weather stages are not left overnight.

Fated Expedition window

Official timing is 13 August 2026 – 10 September 2026 EST. If your device clock is UTC, treat the close as early on 11 September. When the campaign ends, Jotaro’s Hat stops dropping and the exchange shop closes — hats do not convert into Coins or Astrogems on a hidden formula, so spend them while the shop still lists shards and tickets.

The campaign is the Version 1.0 launch event, not a side banner you can ignore until later. It is also not a rerun of the May closed beta, which featured a different Phantom Blood set. English and French beta (15–29 May 2026, US/UK/Canada/France) wiped. Launch accounts start clean, then pick up pre-registration mail (SR Joseph Joestar, Uncharted Fate cards, Extreme Trial Keys) as documented on the launch timeline. Use those tickets on the featured Jotaro banner only after you read the SSR roster and reroll targets.

KLab Games and Wanda Cinemas Games shipped the mode with the same 3D + Live2D + 360-camera combat as story stages. Yugo Kanno’s score plays under the Stardust Crusaders story beats. Japan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau remain outside this global listing, so event schedules you see on East Asian social posts are not this shop.

SSR Jotaro Kujo (Stardust Crusaders / Star Platinum) is the featured unit. A special summon / login path also points at SSR Jotaro, separate from the permanent Uncharted Fate pool. Read the in-game banner card for the live pity counter and ticket type (Timing Choice versus Uncharted Fate) before you spend — limited and permanent pools do not share a counter.

Jotaro’s Hat is the event currency. You earn hats from campaign challenge stages and from the five minigames. The shop is where the campaign actually pays out: Outstanding Collectibles, Card: Uncharted Fate, Spirit Photograph (Jotaro) shards, Collectible Intel, enhancement materials, and a Jotaro-themed chat bubble on the notable row. Buy shards if you already own Jotaro and need copies. Buy Uncharted Fate if you are still building a four-style Rush core. Skip cosmetics until the last 48 hours.

The 15 August live patch put a Jotaro Badge Blueprint on the Monthly Pass Store. That is not a Fated Expedition hat sink; it is a parallel craft path. Do not spend hats on a badge you can blueprint with the pass. The 26 August maintenance then added Featured Character and Ability Recruitment Packs plus a Featured Recruitment Store. Those packs sit in cash/Astrogem space, not hat space. Compare them to the fighting styles you still lack before you buy a Jotaro-shaped bundle that duplicates a style you already ultimated.

Minigames: Mist Skirmish, Card Flip, Coin Toss, Orange Bomb, Memory Match

Five boards feed the same hat wallet. They also feed Free-For-All seasons that rotate beside the campaign. Rankings, Surprise Blind Boxes, raffle tickets, and exclusive titles live on those boards. You do not need to 100 percent every minigame; you need the daily hat cap and the shop items you actually use.

  • Mist Skirmish is the combat-flavored board. Treat it like a short Hall of Trials fight: check weather, hold ultimates for Rush, and do not auto-battle the first attempt.
  • Card Flip is a memory / flip board. The 26 August patch fixed incorrect display. If a face still fails to flip, force the 1.0.4-class store update from the launch timeline before you file a ticket.
  • Coin Toss is the 50/50 board inside the Free-For-All rotation. Fine-tuned values on 26 August changed the feel; play a round after that patch before you assume old odds.
  • Orange Bomb received the most explicit 26 August polish. Play it after maintenance; pre-patch muscle memory is not the live game.
  • Memory Match (also called Memory Cards in some Free-For-All copy) is the pair-matching board. Clear it for hats and boxes, then leave.

Energy Operation Phase 2, also from the 26 August window, is the stamina overlay that makes these boards compete with story and progression. Spend event energy first while Fated Expedition is live, then dump leftover stamina into Quest Level so Extreme Trial Keys from pre-registration mail are not sitting on a team that cannot clear. The daily checklist is the order of operations; this page is the why.

Login campaigns and the Stardust Crusaders story

Daily check-in during Fated Expedition lists Card: Timing Choice, Card: Soul Resonance, a Jotaro-themed chat bubble, and related stamps. Timing Choice feeds the limited Jotaro banner. Soul Resonance feeds the ability side. Log in even on days you will not clear Orange Bomb; the stamp is the cheapest Jotaro currency in the campaign.

The character story event puts you on the Stardust Crusaders road — Egypt, Star Platinum, the usual companions — while the main plot is still Golden Wind in Naples. It is not a substitute for story Quest Level. Clear the event stages for hats and materials, then return to the Guides Hub route so Hall of Trials and Extreme Trial Team actually open. If you are building a Part 3 core (Jotaro, SR Joseph from pre-registration, Avdol / Polnareff if you pulled them), read the PvE tier list before you over-invest in a Crusaders-only four that fails weather tags.

Special summon copy for SSR Jotaro is a login / campaign grant, not a guarantee that every account walks out with Star Platinum on day one. If the special summon misses, hats and Uncharted Fate are the backup. Do not bind the publisher account until you like that first spread; the reroll guide is still the reset rule, and neither August patch wiped that advice.

Launch celebration X giveaway

A social giveaway ran 13–20 August 2026 EST on the official X account @jojogs_official. Entry was follow plus repost of the campaign post; likes boosted odds. 100 winners received a $10 Amazon US gift card. That window is closed. It was not an in-game mailbox drop and it is not a promo code. If a stranger DMs you a “late winner” link, ignore it and stay on official links.

A separate pre-registration X giveaway (19–26 June 2026, 100 winners, $5 Amazon US) also already ended. Neither giveaway required spending Astrogems. Neither replaced the 2 million pre-registration stack (Coins through SR Joseph) that mailed in-game.

How to spend the first month

Order of operations while Fated Expedition is still up:

  1. Tutorial, mailbox, codes via how to redeem. Confirm reward contents so you do not waste a duplicate ticket.
  2. Decide reroll before binding. Check SSR roster and fighting styles.
  3. Daily check-in for Timing Choice / Soul Resonance. Then minigames for hats. Then shop: shards if you have Jotaro, Uncharted Fate if you do not.
  4. Story until Quest Level 3, then Hall of Trials. Hold Extreme Trial Keys until the team can finish.
  5. Fold Energy Operation Phase 2, weather stages, and Rush practice into the daily checklist and the combat guide.
  6. After 10 September 2026 EST, stop looking for hats. Return to the Updates Hub for the next dated patch and keep using the Tools Hub checklists.

Play Store snapshots around research time (about 1 million downloads, 4.1 stars, 9,800 reviews) do not tell you whether Card Flip still misrenders or whether Orange Bomb already received its 26 August pass. Client version near 1.0.4, the 15 August live hotfix, and the 26 August downtime window are the real event-adjacent patches; details stay on the launch timeline.

Jotaro’s Hat does not convert after 10 September 2026 EST. Clear Mist Skirmish, Card Flip, Coin Toss, Orange Bomb, and Memory Match while the shop still lists Spirit Photograph shards, then return to Quest Level work so Extreme Trial Keys from pre-registration mail are not sitting idle when the campaign banner comes down.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, Rush, and Stand lineups.

When does Fated Expedition end?

10 September 2026 EST (宿命遠征 opened 13 August 2026 with global launch). Spend Jotaro's Hat before the shop closes. The parent Updates Hub will add a new child page if a later campaign replaces this one.

How do I get Jotaro Kujo during the launch campaign?

Featured banner using Timing Choice / campaign tickets, the special summon / login path for SSR Jotaro, and Spirit Photograph shards in the Hat shop. Compare him on the SSR roster before you spend Uncharted Fate. Pre-registration mailed SR Joseph, not Jotaro.

Which minigames drop Jotaro's Hat?

Mist Skirmish, Card Flip, Coin Toss, Orange Bomb, and Memory Match, plus campaign challenge stages. Orange Bomb and Card Flip both received display or feel fixes on 26 August; play them on the current client. Track the dailies on the daily checklist.

Is the Amazon X giveaway still open?

No. The launch celebration ran 13–20 August 2026 EST: 100 winners, $10 Amazon US, follow and repost on @jojogs_official. It was not an in-game code. Live strings stay on the codes hub.

Do I need Quest Level 3 before events?

You can stamp login and some minigames earlier, but Hall of Trials, Extreme Trial Keys, and several boards wait on Quest Level 3. Follow getting started and progression, then open the Hall of Trials.

Did the August patches change the event?

Yes, around the edges. 15 August added the Monthly Pass Jotaro Badge Blueprint (not a Hat sink). 26 August polished Orange Bomb, balanced Free-For-All, added featured packs / store, and opened Energy Operation Phase 2. Full notes are on the launch timeline.
